Thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and early evening again for the Permian Basin. Some of the storms could turn strong to severe. A marginal risk (level 1/5) has been issued for the Eastern Permian Basin. A marginal risk means that isolated severe thunderstorms are possible.
The best chances of storms will be between 5pm-9pm.
Gusty winds will be the primary concerns from the thunderstorms today, although hail is also possible in some of the stronger storms.
