An upper level trough to the West will again increase Thunderstorm potential this afternoon mainly East of the dryline that should set up over the Central Permian Basin during the day. The best chance of storms will be mainly between 4pm-8pm over the Eastern Basin.

The main risk from the thunderstorms will be large hail and damaging winds.

Level 1 marginal – Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible.
Level 2 slight – Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible.
