(Big 2/Fox 24) – Most of the Permian Basin is now under a slight risk of severe weather today and this evening, that’s down from an enhanced risk from yesterday. However, parts of the extreme northeastern basin are still included in the enhanced risk. The main hazards today are still the large hail and damaging winds. Isolated tornadoes still can not be ruled out.
Marginal risk (green): Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible.
Slight risk: (yellow): Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible.
Enhanced risk: (orange): Numerous severe thunderstorms are possible.
