SENIOR SUPPORT SERVICES – COVID 19 RESPONSE

United Way of Midland is pleased to announce the launch of the Senior Support Service for COVID-19 efforts.

The purpose of the project is to ensure that the needs of seniors, those who are homebound, and other vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 crisis are met.

The project services include:
1. Providing staff and a call center to take calls and make referrals to those who need specific services
2. Obtain and deliver food for those who are homebound and/or cannot get out
3. Provide timely follow up calls to those who have called for assistance

The services will provide infrastructure support to the outstanding work that Senior Life Midland, Casa de Amigos, the Area Agency on Aging, 211 and other local organizations are providing with their limited resources.

If you or someone you know needs assistance during this time, please call our Support Service line at 432-260-7288.
