New cases confirmed, Mayor Turner to declare shelter in place


ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Mayor David Turner is expected to announce a shelter in place today following a city council meeting.

This comes after two new cases were confirmed on Monday. City officials say a woman in her 30’s and a man in his 40’s both tested positive for COVID-19.

The woman’s case is believed to be community spread and the man’s is believed to be travel related, a release reads.
