MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A 52-year-old man from Cedar Hill was killed in a crash that left several others injured Thursday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Troopers were called to the crash around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Highway 349 and County Road 60.
While investigating the crash troopers learned that the driver of a semi-truck failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and collided with a Chevrolet pickup, according to the report.
The driver of the pickup, Arturo Parra Vega was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, officials say.
Three passengers in the pickup, Pablo Cervantes, Juan Salinas and Pablo Parra-Cervantes, all sustained non-incapacitating injuries in the crash, the report reads.
Officials say all three have been treated and released.
