TWO-A-DAYS: Pecos Eagles

PECOS, Tx – The Pecos football team won a playoff game for the first time in more than 40 years last season, and the Eagles are hoping to expand on that success this year.

“We just know what to expect now. We know there’s a lot of good teams out there and we’ve just got to go out and play,” said senior center Daniel Perea.

The Eagles return quite a bit of experience this season, including eight starters on offense. Four of those players are members of the offensive line, an area that should be a strong point for the Eagles. Head Coach Chad Olson said the defense should be improved this year from last, as well.
