TWO-A-DAYS: Fort Stockton Panthers

FORT STOCKTON, Tx – The Fort Stockton football team will be adjusting to quite a bit of change this year.

The Panthers opted to move up in divisions this season, and will now face Andrews, Big Spring and San Angelo Lake View in district play. Fort Stockton is also adjusting to a younger roster this season.

“There’s going to be quite a few sophomores up and quite a few juniors up so it’ll be a good mix of kids,” head coach Mike Peters said.

So Fort Stockton is spending these first few weeks before its first game getting back in shape and sorting new players into positions. However, he did say the Panthers have quite a few skill players back this season, and that should be a strength for the team.
