TWO-A-DAYS: Forsan Buffaloes

The Forsan Buffaloes have struggled to put together a winning season the last couple of years, but a heavy-upperclassmen roster is hoping for some change this season.

This year’s team features all seniors and juniors and just one sophomore. According to head coach Jason Phillips, that experience has allowed the Buffs to get deeper into the playbook earlier than they normally do at this point of the year.

Phillips said the team’s offensive line should also be a strength for the team this year, but it might also be their downfall. He said there is not a lot of depth on the lines. Because of that, he said the team is taking it a little easier these first couple of weeks in order to keep the players healthy.
