ODESSA, Tx – Odessa High’s season came to an end Friday in the Bronchos’ last regular season game against Frenship.
The Bronchos did not make the playoffs this year and finished last in the district standings. The team finished with an 0-7 overall record.
Despite the tumultuous season, head coach Danny Servance said there were a lot of valuable lessons on the way. He said he is most proud of the way his team adapted to the conditions of this unprecedented season.
“Of course you want to win as much as you possibly can, but this group grew up a lot. They matured and they kept fighting every game. And that’s what you want to see is that you’ve established that type of reputation as being a hard-nosed football team and everybody that we played realized that,” Servance said.
