The United States Women’s National Team won its fourth and consecutive World Cup Sunday with a 2-0 victory over the Netherlands.

The U.S. got on the board early in the second half with a Megan Rapinoe penalty kick in the 61st minute. Rose Lavelle added the second goal shortly after in the 69th minute.

It should be noted that the Americans never trailed. Not once in their journey to the title. They outscored all seven of their opponents with a combined 26-3.

The United States has now won the Cup on four different occasions: 1991, 1999, 2015 and now 2019.
