Former Phillies pitcher Jamie Moyer showed up to throw out the first pitch at Philadelphia’s American League Wild Card Game 2 vs. the Marlins on Wednesday night in style.

The 2008 World Series winner paid homage to the Phillie Phanatic with his outfit when taking the mound. Moyer was dressed in the iconic Phillies overalls, but they weren’t just any team overalls. The 60-year-old sported the white and red striped overalls with a big picture of the Phillies green mascot on the front.

It was hard for fans to miss the embroidered bright green Phanatic image on Moyer’s chest as he threw out the first pitch at Citizens Bank Park. Check out the scene.

Fans couldn’t get enough of Moyer’s outfit on Wednesday night. Here’s a few of the best responses on social media.

Moyer played for the Phillies from 2006 to ’10, winning a World Series with the club in 2008, but also played for seven other teams during his career.
