LUBBOCK, Texas (Nexstar) – Texas Tech started off its 12-game home stretch sweeping Gonzaga in their midweek series.

Tuesday, the Red Raiders halted a late rally to grab the 5-4 win.

A three-run go-ahead double in the bottom of the seventh from Nate Rombach helped push the Red Raiders ahead.

On Wednesday, Double T snagged another 5-4 victory extending its win streak to 10 games. Again, the Red Raiders stopped a late rally from Gonzaga.

While the offense was able to turn seven hits into five runs, they left 11 runners on base.

The #9 Red Raiders now turn their attention to Friday as they welcome UConn.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Friday at 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday at 2 p.m.
  • Sunday at 2 p.m.
