Midland High seeking crucial win against Permian

Sports

Midland High will finally be back at home this week when they host Permian at Grande Communications Stadium. The team’s last game in the Tall City was September 20th against Abilene High.

The Bulldogs (1-6, 0-2) enter the contest on a five-game losing streak. A loss to the Panthers (4-3, 2-0) would significantly narrow Midland High’s path towards a sixth consecutive postseason appearance.

Meanwhile, MOJO enters the game having played its best football in recent weeks. The Panthers have won their last four games.

Permian began play in District 2-6A with victories over Odessa High (24-0) and Amarillo Tascosa (35-27).
