MORGANTOWN, WV (ABC Big 2/Fox 24) – No. 11 West Virginia overcame a 12-point deficit Monday night to take down No. 10 Texas Tech 88-87.
West Virginia’s Miles McBridge laid in a shot with seconds left to give the Mountaineers the lead. Texas Tech had possession of the ball when time expired, but Mac McClung missed the final shot. McClung finished the game with a season-high 30 points, however.
The ballgame was close throughout, with the teams tied at 39 going into halftime.
The Red Raiders are now 11-5 and 4-4 in Big 12 play.
