UIL athletics kick off strength and conditioning programs

Monday was the first day UIL schools were able to start their strength and conditioning programs, though some new guidelines were enforced.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, schools are now required to follow additional rules during summer workouts. Some of those new rules include no shower/locker room use by student athletes, hand sanitizing stations and disinfecting equipment after use.

Several schools are also implementing temperature checks prior to workouts.
