LUBBOCK, Tx (ABC Big 2/Fox 24) – New Texas Tech head coach Mark Adams is compiling a roster of his own, and added to the team with UTEP-transfer Bryson Williams.

Williams is coming off a season with the Miners averaging 15.1 points-per-game and 4.7 rebounds a game. The power forward made the All-Conference USA First Team for his performance throughout the 2020 season.

He said he made his decision to transfer to Tech because defense is an area he’d like to improve upon, and said Coach Adams is a “defensive guru” who can help him in that aspect.

Williams will have one year of eligibility.
