ODESSA, Tx (ABC Big 2 Sports/Fox 24) – The UTPB women’s soccer team started Sunday’s slate of games with a 2-1 loss to Southwest.
Both teams struggled to score in the defensive battle. Southwest scored its first goal with about 25 minutes left in the second half. UTPB scored its first goal with about 10 minutes left to play. The loss sets UTPB at 0-4.
The UTPB men’s team had no problem offensively, however. The Falcons were able to win Sunday’s game 3-1 to improve to 2-1-1.
