Local Sports

The Cowboys announced wide receiver Michael Gallup will be out for two to four weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee due to a lateral meniscus tear.

Luckily for Dallas, the Cowboys have plenty of offensive weapons to lean on.

Many fans probably saw the long touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to Devon Smith in Sunday’s game. Though Smith has not seen much playing time with the team, he could potentially be a strength for the team in Gallup’s absence.

The team will of course also have Amari Cooper, Ezekiel Elliot and the tight ends to lean on in this Sunday’s matchup against the Dolphins
