PLAYOFF BASKETBALL: Permian falls to Duncanville in Regional Final

Local Sports

The Permian boys basketball team’s season came to an end in the Regional Final round with a 59-43 loss to Duncanville.

Permian attempted to keep the same momentum in Saturday’s final as it did in Friday night’s big regional semifinal win over Richardson. Though MOJO got off to an early lead, Duncanville was able to respond with an 8-nothing run to begin to pull away from the Panthers.

It was the first time in decades the team had advanced to the region finals. Permian finished the season with a 32-4 record- the most wins in a single season in program history.
