The National Junior College Athletic Association has made some big changes to the upcoming athletic schedule for junior colleges.
The NJCAA has moved all fall close-contact sports to the spring. This includes football, volleyball and men and women’s soccer.
Winter sports will not start their season until January, with championships getting push back a month from March to April. Indoor track and field will begin competition in March.
Most of the spring sports, such as softball and baseball, should only have minor schedule changes.
