MOJO Monday: Permian sets sights on California team

The Permian Panthers face off against Palm Desert High School (CA) this Friday.

Permian will be looking for its first win of the season after starting the year 0-3. The Panthers recently lost to Southlake Carroll. It’s the first time since 2013 Permian has started the year with three losses and no wins.

Despite the loss, head coach Jeff Ellison said he was impressed with the way his team played last Friday. He was especially complimentary of the defense.

Ellison said Palm Desert is another tough matchup, and a team with a solid offensive line.
