MIDLAND, Tx – Midland Trinity announced it will cancel the remainder of its summer programs on Friday.
This includes all athletic camps and the next three weeks of Summer Charge Up. The release by Head of School Shelby Hammer said the school does not have any active coronavirus cases, but the school will heed warnings by local government officials to be cautious.
The statement also said “A key factor of our decision was the optional, free nature of Summer Charge Up and summer athletic camps.”
The school’s focus is on reopening the campus to students and staff in August. Right now Midland Trinity is set to start school on Aug. 19, with Upper School athletics beginning Aug. 3.
