MIDLAND, Tx – The Midland and Frenship girls basketball game went down to the wire Tuesday evening, with the Lady Tigers ultimately winning the game in overtime.
Midland’s Kobe Powell got a steal and assisted her teammate in a lay-up with less than a minute to put Midland High up 48-45 in the fourth quarter. Frenship responded with a corner three-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.
The Lady Tigers outscored Midland by three points in overtime to win 56-53.
