Alpine cancels next two football games after students were potentially exposed to COVID-19

ALPINE, Tx – Alpine head coach John Fellows confirmed the program will cancel its next two football games after students at Alpine ISD were potentially exposed to COVID-19.

The games include match-ups against Kermit and McCamey. The high school will also move to remote learning from Sept. 22 to Oct. 5.

The district sent out a release stating students may have been exposed to the virus between Thursday, Sept. 17 and Monday, Sept 21. In-person learning is set to resume Oct. 6. Elementary and middle schools will continue in-person learning as scheduled.
