Lee passes first playoff test vs. El Paso Montwood

MIDLAND, Texas – The Midland Lee Rebels did what many expected in their first playoff game of 2020, comfortably defeating the El Paso Montwood Rams 66-21.

Even the lopsided final score doesn’t complete illustrate how dominant of a showing it was for the Rebels.

Midland Lee ended the first quarter with a 35-0 lead and increased its advantage to 56-7 at the half.

Lee head coach Clint Hartman, who recorded his 100th career victory, praised his team’s focus and preparation in practice leading up to the game.

This week, the Rebels will face the Euless Trinity Trojans in the Area Round. That game is scheduled to kickoff Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
