Kliff Kingsbury Inducted Into High School Hall Of Fame

ODESSA, TX (Local 2/Fox 24) - Texas Tech's Kliff Kingsbury was inducted into the Texas High School Hall of Fame on Saturday.

While in high school, Kingsbury threw 34 touchdowns and led his team to a state semifinal.

Kingsbury went on to play quarterback at Texas Tech, where he broke 39 school records and seven NCAA FBS records.

Before becoming the Texas Tech Head Coach, Kingsbury played in the NFL. He is the fifteenth head coach in Texas Tech history, and the only former Texas Tech player to coach the squad.
