The Coahoma Bulldogs will halt their offseason strength and conditioning workouts for “at least the next two weeks”.
Chris Joslin, the school’s head football coach/athletic director, made the announcement in a Facebook post on Monday night.
“This is totally a precaution due to the rapid rate across the state, area and country, of active COVID cases over the last week,” said Joslin in the post. “We do not have any cases at our workouts and have been cleaning according to rules set forth.”
So far, Howard County has reported 26 total cases of COVID-19; 14 of those have been announced within the past two weeks.
