The SEC and more so LSU just continues to crank elite defenders. Things are no different in this year’s draft.
Deion Jones spent most of his career with the Tigers as a backup and beginning 2015, only had one start to his name. His senior year he exploded onto the scene, reaching 100 tackles and was a finalist for the Butkus Award.
Jones is little small for his position, but his football acumen and speed will make many forget his physical appearances.
He is expected to go in the second round.
