A woman faces DWI charges for a third time after nearly crashing into an Odessa police car, according to officers.

Barbara Hutchinson, 33, was booked a little after midnight on Wednesday, police say. Reports state she narrowly missed hitting an Odessa K-9 unit on East University.

The report states she was seen driving a Ford F-150 in the left turn lane, but instead of turning she kept going and almost crashed into the police unit.

Officers pulled her over and reported that she appeared to be under the influence of something other than alcohol, according to police. Officers also noticed a “green, leafy” substance near her mouth. Hutchinson admitted to police that it was synthetic marijuana, according to OPD. An officer also found synthetic marijuana inside Hutchinson’s bra.

Hutchinson was booked on charges for driving while under the influence of something other than alcohol. Records show that Hutchinson has two prior DWI convictions, according to police.
