ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Angelica Garcia, the woman accused of killing two young girls in a crash, has been indicted, according to the Ector County District Attorney’s Office.
Officials say Garcia was indicted on two counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
She was originally arrested back on July 3 after police say she ran through a barricade and struck Mia and Mya Coy near a fireworks stand. Mia and Mya were both killed in the crash.
He bond was also increased to $100,000 on each count, the release reads.
If she makes bail, officials say she will be required to wear a GPS and alcohol detection monitor.
