Victims in Terrell County crash identified

TERRELL COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Two people were killed following a crash in Terrell County.

Officials with the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office say deputies were called to the crash around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on Highway 90, just east of Dryden.

While investigating, officials learned that two semi-trucks collided, according to a release. Following the initial collision, an SUV crashed into one of the semi-truck, officials say.

The driver and a passenger, Gi Lee and Seong Lee of British Columbia, in the eastbound semi-truck, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, the report reads.

The driver and a passenger, Dyrwyn Zamarripa and Daniel Zamaripa of Del Rio, in the SUV were airlifted from the scene.

None of the victims have been identified.
