UTPB’s Ledoux explains decision to go pro

After just one season at UTPB, Jacob Ledoux announced his decision to declare for the NBA Draft earlier this week.

The junior has not yet hired an agent, although he says he is currently evaluating his options. If he were to remain without an agent, he would have the option to return to the Falcons for his senior season. He also plans to stay enrolled in the school and pursue the completion of his degree.

Ledoux transferred to UTPB last summer after spending his first two collegiate seasons at Division I McNeese State. In his lone year with the Falcons, he led the Lone Star Conference in scoring (18.2 PPG) and was named the LSC Newcomer of the Year.

The Louisiana native says he will begin his pre-draft workouts this week in Houston.
