UTPB riding confidence wave into conference tournament

The UTPB Baseball Team wrapped up its regular season with a series win over Tarleton State last weekend.

The Falcons won three out of four games, and tallied 27 runs in Sunday’s doubleheader.

But both UTPB head coach Brian Reinke and several of the players say it’s not only the offense that’s hot. They said pitching is peaking at the right time, too.

“The big importance there is we’re starting to get hot at the right time,” said senior outfielder Tony Oslovar.

Senior Skyler Palermo agreed and said the Falcons’ versatility should send a message to the other teams in the tournament.
