Coaches and media members ranked UTPB eighth in the Lone Star Conference in this year’s preseason poll.
The Falcons had one first place vote, and that vote came from UTPB Head Coach Justin Carrigan.
Carrigan said he will vote UTPB in first place every single time.
“I’m going to pick them to win. And I expect to win. To go at it from any other angle to me…I think it is a terrible mindset,” he said.
