News

(Big 2/Fox 24) – Here is a look at several road projects going on in the Permian Basin this week.

ECTOR COUNTY: I-20 work will require alternating single lane closures Monday & Tuesday nights just west of JBS for repairs to the weigh-in-motion units. On 9-16, westbound lanes will be done (on ramp from north service road in area will be closed). On 9-17, eastbound lanes will be done. Work starts at 7 p.m.

REEVES COUNTY: Work on US 285 will require a closure of the southbound lane a few miles north of SH 302 on Monday (9-16). Please slow down in work zone. Please obey flaggers. Expect delays.

MARTIN COUNTY: Work on FM 846 will require alternating lane closures Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (9-16, 17 & 18). Work will be done in area of FM 3263 and County Road 3901. Pilot car will be in use. Please slow down in work zone. Please obey flaggers.

PECOS COUNTY: Crews will be picking up litter with a mobile operation Monday along 60-plus miles of I-10. Please slow down around work convoy.

Work on SH 18 will require a lane closure between mile markers 384-386 on Monday (9-16). Please obey flaggers. Please slow down in work zone.

ANDREWS COUNTY: Work on FM 1788 will require alternating lane closures between mile markers 286-290 on Tuesday (9-17). Pilot car will be in use. Please slow down in work zone. Please obey flaggers. Work in northern part of county.

ANDREWS COUNTY: Work on FM 1788 will require short lane closures between mile markers 284-286 on Wednesday (9-18). Please slow down in work zone. Please obey flaggers. (No pilot car.) Work in northern part of county.
