Three arrested in May shooting

ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) - The Odessa Police Department has arrested three suspects in connection with a shooting that occurred last month. 

Police officials say they have arrested Kendra Lynn Griffin, Cameron Griffin and Allen Shorter III in connection with the shooting that took place back on May 11 at a Kent Kwik in Odessa. 

While investigating the shooting, officers learned that Shorter had shot the victim, Praxeded Salinas III, in the head, according to the release. 

Initially, Kendra and Cameron Griffin were identified as persons of interest in the case, but eventually became suspects. 

Kendra Griffin has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with physical evidence. 

Cameron Griffin has been charged with tampering with physical evidence. 

Shorter has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
