ODESSA, TX, April 7, 2021 — The West Texas Food Bank and Keep Midland Beautiful are partnering together for the third annual Earth Day event this Saturday.
The festivities will be held at the West Texas Food Bank Midland Facility in the XTO Energy Innovative Gardens, 1601 Westcliff Drive Midland.
The event will open at 10:00 a.m. and will last until 1:00 p.m.
“We are excited to partner again with Keep Midland Beautiful and offer a unique venue for the kiddos to learn,” said Libby Campbell, Executive Director, West Texas Food Bank. “The West Texas Food Bank earned a coveted ‘Green Energy’ award from Feeding America for our initiatives in water reclamation and solar power, and we are always happy to open our doors and teach the children about the world around them and how to be great stewards of the environment.”
“Earth day is a special time to appreciate and be aware of the environment we live in in West Texas. This event will offer ways to help beautify and take care of our little slice of earth in Midland,” Doreen Womack, Keep Midland Beautiful.
