Odessa, TEXAS (Fox 24) – The NATE Foundation is a nonprofit founded in honor of Nathaniel Silvas, who died because of a drunk driver. The organization spreads awareness about drinking and driving, suicide, and bullying.

Janie Villanueva from the NATE Foundation has the details about an event this weekend that’s open for the community. The NATE Foundation and Trinity Family Medicine are partnering to host a Health and Wellness Day on Saturday, May 15. People who attend can expect food, activities, and local vendors, and money from the event will be put towards NATE. The event is at Trinity Family Medicine at 6100 Eastridge Road in Odessa, and the event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day.
