Texas Tech baseball defeated Duke 6-4 Saturday in game one of the Super Regional round of the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
The Red Raiders trailed 3-0 in the fifth inning before Midland-native Grant Little plated the team’s first two runs with a two-out double.
Texas Tech did not take the lead until the seventh inning.
Little went 1-4 on the day with two RBI and a strikeout.
Texas Tech will play Duke Sunday at 5 p.m. If the Red Raiders win, they will lock up a spot in Omaha at the College World Series. The game is televised on ESPN U.
