Texas Tech Baseball Players Announce They Will Play Professional Ball


Several Texas Tech baseball players announced on Twitter that they will sign with professional organizations.

These players include Midland-native sophomore Grant Little and junior pitchers Steven Gingery, Ty Harpenau and Ryan Shetter.

The San Diego Padres picked Little in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft as the 74th overall pick.

The St. Louis Cardinals drafted Gingery in the fourth round. The Atlanta Braves drafted Shetter and Harpenau in the ninth and 16th rounds respectively.
