Texas Tech is Omaha-bound after taking down Oklahoma State in a decisive game three in the Lubbock Super Regional.
Tech won game one on Friday and Oklahoma State won game two on Saturday to force the third game.
The Red Raiders scored late to take the lead and win the game 8-6. Junior Josh Jung and sophomore Kurt Wilson nailed a couple of homeruns in the eighth inning to help give and keep a lead for Texas Tech.
This is the fourth time in the last six seasons that the Red Raiders have advanced to the College World Series.
Texas Tech’s opponent will be the winner of the Los Angeles Super Regional: either UCLA or Michigan. Dates and times for the tournament will be announced Monday evening.
