ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – One man has been arrested after he reportedly led deputies on a chase Monday morning.
Officials with the Ector County Sheriff’s Office say the investigation began around 10:11 a.m. when deputies noticed a vehicle that had been reported stolen and initiated a traffic stop.
However, the suspect, later identified as Manuel Rodriguez, drove away and the chase began, according to the release.
The chase came to an end in Midland County and Rodriguez was arrested, officials say.
He has now been charged on a parole violation for aggravated assault and additional charges are currently pending.
