Suspect arrested in connection with ‘suspicious fires’ in Crane County

The Crane County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection with several suspicious fires that had been reported in the county. 

Officials say Jacob Tyler Crain, 20, was charged with three counts of Arson and terroristic threat. 

The fires, according to previous reports, took place between February and May. 

At the beginning of May, county officials made a statement saying, “The fire yesterday afternoon is under suspicion origin.” and saying “Arson is a crime and will be prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law.”

Crain currently being held at the Crane County Jail on a $160,000 bond.
