Odessa Police have arrested one many after he reportedly admitted to altering prescription medication for personal use.
On July 13, police officials say a fraudulent prescription report was made.
During the investigation, police say a pharmacist was issuing himself prescription medication with permission and altering medication, according to a release.
Police later learned the suspect, Evan Brummert, had been arrested by the Midland Police Department the same day the report was made, according to a release.
He was interviewed by detectives and reportedly admitted to altering controlled substance prescriptions for personal use.
Brummert was later charged with fraudulent prescription, a third-degree-felony.
