MIDLAND, Texas (Nexstar)- The labyrinth at the Springboard Center took more than 175 man-hours to create and is now a permanent fixture at the drug and alcohol treatment center.

Local artist, Cindy Olive, spent the last three years working to design the unique labyrinth made up of brick pavers.

The carefully molded maze has one entrance and one exit and requires thought and patience to navigate.

The Springboard Center says the maze compliments the treatments provided at the center by “promoting the idea of mindfulness and has proved to be therapeutic by cultures across the world”.
