Sheriff: Additional Threat Made at Hospital; Sul Ross Being Evacuated

UPDATE 11:57 a.m.:
Brewster County Sheriff’s Office Officials say they are still currently working several scenes and there is now a threat against the hospital in Alpine. 
Ronny Dodson, Brewster County Sheriff, said they are evacuating Sul Ross State University due to an active bomb threat and they are waiting on dogs to arrive at the scene to search the university. 
Dodson said the victim shot at Alpine High School is in stable condition. 
Dodson also said there has been another threat made at the hospital in alpine. 
UPDATE 11:11 a.m.
According to Brewster County Attorney J. Steven Houston, officers have swept Alpine High School and have cleared it.
Houston went on to say that a student was shot by another female student.
The shooter then turned the gun on herself and has died, Houston said.
In the midst of the investigation a Homeland Security Officer was also shot in the leg by a second Homeland Security officer, according to Houston.
Officers are now on scene at Sul Ross State University due to another threat.
Officials at Sul Ross say they have just gone into lockdown due to an active shooter situation.
We are still working to gather information.

All Alpine schools are currently on lockdown and the scene is still active, according to the sheriff’s Office.
