The seal coat program for the Odessa district of TxDOT is will underway.
Each year, the Texas Department of Transportation seal coats select roads in the district to prolong the life of Basin roads.
The projects are already underway in various cities:

Week of May 28
>> Week of May 28: FM 1233 from Ward County line to FM 1053.
>> SH 329 from 2.5 miles east of FM 1053 to Upton County line.
>> FM 761 from SH 17 to BI-20 (West Third Street) in Pecos.
>> I-20 ramps and frontage roads from mile marker 28 to mile marker 41.
>> I-20 ramps at FM 2903 in Toyah, at the Johnson overpass near the split, and at the McAlpine overpass near the split.
>> SH 115 from Winkler County line to Spur 57.
>> SH 18 from New Mexico state line to FM 1232.
>> SH 115 from SH 18 to Ward County line.
Week of June 3
>> FM 2037 from I-10 to end of state maintenance.
>> FM 1053 from 3 miles south of FM 1450 to BI-10 (Dickinson Boulevard) in Fort Stockton.
>> US 190 from FM 305 to SH 349.
>> FM 11 from FM 1901 to Spur 293.
>> I-20 from 5 to 9 miles east of split.
>> I-10 from Giffin overpass to FM 3078.
>> I-20 ramps at the Stocks overpass near the split.
>> US 90 from 2 miles east of US 285 to 7.4 miles west of SH 349.
Week of June 10
>> SH 349 from Upton County line to Pecos County line.
>> RM 2886 from I-10mto Terrell County line.
>> SH 349 from Pecos County line to RM 2400.
>> SH 349 from Spur 576 to US 67.
Week of May 20
The following locations were scheduled to be seal coated the week of May 20.
>> SH 115 from SH 176 on east side of Andrews to east Mustang Drive.
>> FM 1233 from Ward County line to FM 1053.
>> FM 866 from I-20 to SH 302.
>> SH 158 from FM 302 to FM 866.
>> SH 158 from US 385 to Midland County line.
>> FM 3472 (16th Street) from FM 1936 to West Loop 338.
>> I-20 frontage roads from Midland County line to Howard County line.
>> RM 1357 from FM 1379 to Glasscock County line.
>> Spur 268 (Wall Street) from South Midkiff Road to Andrews Highway.
>> SH 115 from Andrews County line to SH 18.
Projects are expected to continue through June.
