Roy Daniel Garza was found guilty on two counts of attempted capital murder.
Garza was facing multiple attempted capital murder charges stemming from a lengthy standoff with law enforcement back in 2015.
The trial began on Tuesday.
During the trial, many witnesses were called to the stand which included law enforcement officers who responded to the scene.
Each of them gave their account of what took place the day Garza reportedly barricaded himself inside the home and two officers were transported from the scene with gunshot wounds.
The standoff lasted about nine hours.
