One man has been charged after Odessa Police officials say he head-butted and officer last week.
Police say on April 13, officers saw the driver of a Buick LaCrosse run a red light at 42nd and Dixie nearly causing a crash.
Officers stopped the vehicle and reportedly learned that the driver, Jeramy Stone, was wanted out of Midland County.
Stone was then taken into custody and transported to the Ector County Jail.
While at the jail, police say Stone lunged at and head-butted an officer in the forehead and resisted.
He was charged with assault on a public servant, resisting arrest and evading arrest.
